I've been into this band since the early days and so many fans of my generation went off their stuff as their music direction evolved but I've stuck with them, performances like this are why I think they've still got it. They can really elevate an audience.

I found Anathema around Judgement. Awesome album and from then on, they basically evolved and stayed the same. I love that about this band. Had that with The Gathering as well, but when Anneke left, they changed too much for me and stopped listening to them.

Lucas Matos as I know, for some songs they change "place". Don't ask me why, in this particular song they also use pre-recorded keyboards......... John only plays "percussions". I hope they will come back with Daniel on keys and John ONLY on drums. Saw them live 5 times. Since they made this choice, i haven't been going to their concerts.

JOHN DOUGLAS must be the main and only Anathema drummer... Nothing personal my dear DANIEL, you are a great musician and your place is with ANATHEMA. But I think that John´s background demands him as the drummer and you on keyboards... that´s a terrific and killer line-up. ANATHEMA and KATATONIA are my favourite bands, but please respect the line-up that we enjoy the most. Long live JOHN DOUGLAS and ANATHEMA
