Anatomy of a Fall (French: Anatomie d'une chute) is a 2023 French courtroom drama thriller film directed by Justine Triet from a screenplay she co-wrote with Arthur Harari. It stars Sandra Hüller as a writer trying to prove her innocence in her husband's death.
Anatomy of a Fall premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2023, where it won the Palme d'Or and the Palm Dog Award and competed for the Queer Palm. It was released theatrically in France by Le Pacte on 23 August 2023.
The film received critical acclaim, with praise for Triet and Hüller, and sold over one million admissions in France. It continued to win awards, including the National Board of Review Award for Best International Film and was nominated in four categories at the 81st Golden Globe Awards.

@@prasannakumar1625to be clear my experience of courtroom dynamics is based on India/US/UK where clear evidence is debated, not thoughts and feelings. I get the french judicial system is different but it also feels pretty unfair and unsatisfying in its procedures. I found myself backseat driving and yelling “OBJECTION” whenever the courtroom exchanges veered into sentimentality.

If u don't get what u want in it or dissatisfied wid output or climax..might feel odd ..cuz it is a movie and it's a certain individual perspective which may be similar to many individuals in many cases ..she depicted it clearly as mostly there's majoritarian ruling women plays victimplay..but sometimes men does tooo..which is true to some cases .I feel personally I loved how she portrayed both sides and this rules out as psychological thriller not a real-time court case

Imo, the movie makes it pretty clear that he killed himself. But whether or not she did it is not really the point of the movie; the point is to show a failing relationship stripped bare, how degrading it is to have your life scrutinized under the law, and the fact that you can't build a coherent story of a life just by looking at small moments.
