3:02:35 deep facial vein drains in the pterygoid plexus which drains into the *cavernous sinus* by anastomosis with the ophthalmic(sup and inf.) Veins. That is why any infection near the mouth and vein is dangerous because it can reach the meninges via the deep facial.
