Watch this car on our dyno: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2jGdmWanKmCmpI Rally cars are a special breed. They forgo the insatiable quest for power and outright speed in favor of handling, reliability, and endurance. When searching for a hero car for this video we wanted something unique, technically interesting, and with a bit of history behind it. We then bumped into Bruce Garland - a man as colorful as his rally car! Enjoy:)

Yeah, a fu#king legend! Now everyone who's got another excuse to not go and work on their car, should be ashamed. Can't wait to meet him here, in Goodwood.

i reckon when you are faced something like this, taking on a project with a goal to finish it helps get you through. that's if you can physically manage it between treatments at least, but mentally you need something to keep you motivated.

Best interview ever! What a great episode Scotty!!! What an AWESOME Car (I have to admit, I love Ford Escorts, I’ve owned eight of them. Wish I still had them) and an absolutely amazing bloke! Not only had he beaten a heart attack. He’s also kicked Cancers ass and says exactly what we all think about front wheel drives. HAHAHA 🤣. You Sir, are an absolute LEGEND!!!
@SheepInACart3 жыл бұрын
Extremely well done to both Bruce and the Haltech team for this 2 parter. Its something very different to what we normally see, but both car and presentation are absolutely top notch. No doubt a bit of a character that'll offend some modern sensibilities, but you'd need to be stupid not to find words of wisdom worth their weight in gold from that much experience.

Often the driver will opt to put the tyre back in, if it fits Doing this makes sure the weight balance of the car remains the same and doesn't change so the driver doesn't need to change the driving style
