Well, thank you, my dear. Actually, I started doing yoga in 2001, when I was diagnosed with a very severe form of arthritis and my prognosis was that I would be an invalid in a wheelchair. I decided I would not let that happen. But I did have to retire from my dream life as an Obstetrician / Gynecologist / Gynecologic Surgeon. So, I adopted the perfect lifestyle for my arthritis and learned to turn my negatives into positives. I haven't succumbed to my disease, although I still deal with it every minute of every day. And, in a way, I'm trying to teach you how to do with your menopause what I've done with my arthritis: turn your negatives into positives.

Maxine, Your comment makes me so happy! Welcome aboard to "Menopause Taylor University." You'll find that if you start at the very first video (going by the number after each title), you'll understand absolutely everything. And you'll be shocked at what you didn't know, and delighted that you now do know. Each video builds on the last. It's just like school: You had to learn the alphabet before you could read. And nowadays, there are so many overwhelming misconceptions that women mistake as facts ... that you just don't know what you don't know. I respond to all comments here on KZbin daily. So, I will answer all your questions ... but I'll also know if you aren't watching the videos in order. (I'm like your mother. I have eyes in the back of my head!) And if you need me to help you tailor anything to your personal situation, you can schedule a one-on-one consultation at MenopauseTaylor.ME any time. I do them all online.

This warrants tailoring, my dear. This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via online video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.

Barbie, sorry if I'm jumping the gun or am touching on something you've already discussed... Can you touch on in a lesson about women who are living with a vaginally cuff due to having everything surgically removed? Issues like living with scar tissue and how hormones, or lack of, can affect it. Can scar tissue continue to grow in this area like scar adhesions do in the abdomen in some people? Teachings on what is expected if you have a cuff pre menopause or post menopause, etc. I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thank you for all you do for us!!

The entire vitamin/mineral/supplement industry is entirely unregulated. This means that you never know what you're getting. There is no such thing as a "best" anything for all women. That word is a marketing word. Since women are not robots, nothing is best for all of us.

What does a vagina look or feel like after a complete hysterectomy? Without a cervix is it just like a smooth dead end? I chose the partial hysterectomy because I was concerned about it but didn't want to ask my doctor. So dumb I know.
@MenopauseTaylor
@MenopauseTaylor Жыл бұрын
When you make decisions without complete information, it doesn't end well. That's why I always encourage women to have a consultation with me BEFORE they do anything. Yes, a Total Hysterectomy, which includes removal of your cervix results in a dead-end vagina. Your cervix has no function whatsoever if your uterus is gone. Its only function ever was to be a door to your uterus.
@denisenj7648
@denisenj7648 Жыл бұрын
@@MenopauseTaylor agreed. I had fibroids and lots of bleeding and felt rushed to make a decision. Had I known about you then and all I've learned I would have had my ovaries out too, but I just did the uterus and tubes and left the ovaries and cervix. Now I'm waiting to guess at when I hit menopause to start hrt instead of getting on it right after my hysterectomy. Now I tell everyone about you!
