I'm not a medical person at all. But when you start with molecules, then dig down to what makes them, then look at just a cell and all the components that make that up, and from them you derive organs which have there own function, and then you look at all the different organs needed to create a living person/thing, then consider all the connections between all the organs to support them, then consider they all have to be created in the right order and situated in the right place, then consider they need skeletal support and protection, then a mechanism(s) to maintain and coordinate there use (brain maybe?), then consider all the molecular machines that help build things like microtubules were they walk across from one end to other, the number of times dna/rna/mrna are created/replicated and the complex process involved in that alone, you should be in total awe that anything like us or animals even exist and actually work and can live many years, not to mention how such processes can give rise to conscious beings who are able to study that which had created them and go onto create things themselves. I cant help but wander how this is all possible, it seems to me the odds on a fully functioning animal or human being, being created is similar to the odds on a fully functioning Airbus A330 being created by a tornado passing through a scrap yard every hour for a billion years. What process(s) were involved in deciding a kidney, heart, lungs, intestines, brain, liver, pancreas etc was required, what decided which was needed before the other. Then consider we are the tiniest of dots on a blue marble, which is floating in our galaxy amongst a billion other stars and that our galaxy is a spec of dust amongst billions of other galaxies. Amazing !!

Hi Tiffany, I just purchased your Kindle book to follow along with your videos, but I was given the wrong book. The cover pages is titled "Making Anatomy and Physiology Easy" but it looks nothing like that book shown on your videos and on the Amazon website. Chapter 3 on the kindle book is only about "Transcription and Translation." Not sure what to do.
@AnatomyGMC4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jose! That sounds right. Chapter 3 is only about transcription and translation. Chapter 1 is the cell and chapter 2 is homeostasis, 4 tissues, 5 skin etc. It doesn't have the same cover you are seeing in the videos because it is a kindle download file. The paperback has that nice shiny cover. :) Amazon should let you return the file for a refund if you aren't finding it too helpful. I am so sorry!
@tiffanybruce11562 жыл бұрын
Around 42:32 does the codons and/or triplets form a polypeptide after translation is complete fully (after it reads and translates its mRNA to tRNA) ? Or does it form a polypeptide after each triplet set that you just showed, is read and has a anticodon that matches. I'm confused
@AnatomyGMC2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tiffany! The polypeptide is formed slowly along the way--complete after translation is finished. Each union of the codon/anticodon adds an amino acid to the growing polypeptide chain (think adding one pearl (amino acid) at a time to the strand of pearls (polypeptide). :)
