Hi Ana. Thanks for the awesome video. One suggestion: when I built my shed, my contractor friend suggested/mandated, that I install a "Z-bar" flashing across the top of the T111 wall panels above the door, below the gable panel. Otherwise, moisture will get into the top edge of the wall panels. No bueno!

Thanks, these instructions were fabulous. With such ease, his use of the circular saw, zipping right along and noticed it's quite small. I bought a small battery saw, battery was awful which ran briefly on charges, and battery was short lived. Bought a larger/wired, too heavy to use for any length of time. Saw "women's" toolset, which turned out to be same heavy equipment, just in pink. Can you advise?

@AnaWhiteDIY
@AnaWhiteDIY 2 жыл бұрын
This won't translate to a 12x12 as easily - if you can stay with the 8' width, then it's easy to modify (just make sidewalls, ridge longer and add more rafters) I do plan to add more plans in this collection, so if we get alot of requests for the 12x12 size I will do plans. It does take me quite a bit of time to make up these plans.

I would say a reasonable schedule is to pick up materials in the week, make all the framing cuts one night after work, and then build over the weekend. Renting a framing nailer and a roofing nailer saves a ton of time. Costs are super high .... I think we have about $3000 into this.... but a similar shed up here in Alaska is retailing for $6000. So even with the high materials cost, it still saves a ton of money.
