Long story short: IMF says to restore to Landbank and DBP all the money has been placed to maharlika funds so that their capital position will improve. Maharlika funds: NO. Let Landbank and DBP find funds somewhere else to improve their capital position. In the meantime. Maharlika funds are slowly being drained.

DBP and LBP wouldn’t have needed regulatory relief or re-capitalization if they didn’t take capital away from the two. If I recall correctly they said the capital removal would not affect the two banks negatively despite many economists warning about how unwise this would be. Jeez, the mental gymnastics in justifying this.

We need to bring down the management fee to under 1%. I pay 0.04% management fee in many of my investment funds in Canada that pay me 14-20% dividends. 2% is corruption. They're taking too much of the funds. If they break even in some years, the fund is basically losing money in those years. It will slow the growth of the fund.

I think the SSS and GSIS funds are the ones that need to be funded to MIF. SSS losses more than 800 billion pesos two yrs ago, this time its GSIS of more or less 100billion pesos. If these are infused to the MIF, there's more possible interest or earning rather than loss again because MIF is a government fund for Philippine costly projects.. If interests goes to these two insurance agencies then we are sure of a win win solution rather than investing to volatile investments somewhere else as they do now. Can we jail these agencies' officials for possible incompetence and inefficiency of disburting the people's money?

So many people throwing accusations. Most likely are bots. The fund earned interest for the year 2024. The interest alone was worth P2b++ I dont think the salaries of the staff will go above P1b a year. People should understand these things. Also they are aiming for mid teens % returns. Those are good figures. Even the PSEI can reach that in the past few years.

If you only practiced ACTIVE LISTENING and GOOD COMPREHENSION OF THIS DIALOGUE….you should have clearly heard and knew: Expense ratio(2%) may mean 2 things(from the words of Mr Consing): 1. 16:06 total operating expense relative to the total size of the fund, or it may mean also… 2. 16:12 total fees that fund owners basically pay the managers. 16:58 Mr Consing himself admitted, “it is high, it is high, that is exactly why this will have to be reduced overtime, as the fund increases.” …….yan ang punto ng sinabi na “ goodluck to your investors” critical yang expense on fund management fees sa mga investors/traders!
