If u use a granite and a obsidian stone you can make a scraper out of the obsidian and it can make those sharpen sticks a lot faster for you that and you can use it for butchering once you hunted certain animals like the wild warthogs

It’s better to wait until they can dodge and attack predators themselves or they will get attacked constantly and it will be such a pain in the ass. I had mine in the first waterfall oasis spot until I had to travel far to see new locations. By then I move the whole settlement to an already planned and laid out spot at a landmark and continue from there, moving forward and forward each time. It’s better to have a few or all with you when they can defend themselves because then you can intimidate just about everything. I’ve been playing for awhile and half not even like half the map explored its massive! Haven’t made it to the desert yet and have only done one generation leap. Gonna be doing another one soon since you need to get all six babies before you explore the meteorite, that way they all become mutated and then after you get to the point where leveling up isn’t going as fast your gen up, then have six more and find a meteorite to mutate them and do the same thing again, waiting until you can’t level up any more and then skip a gen again. From there you can explore again but instead of doing a gen leap, you do an evolution leap so those mutations in the elders (who were the very first kids) and the adults (who are the second mutated kids) become active and then you repeat this. Lots of work!

It's honestly just a pain in the ass to keep track of multiple members. Not to mention one of them could get killed while holding a baby. Like others said, it IS pretty bad ass though when everyone knows how to dodge and wield spears. Still not worth the hassle at that point though cause NPCs do eventually get stuck/left behind if you're not careful. Only for special occasions- but its far easier to take one or two adults with you!

Very informative episode! I learned how to play like an idiot 🤣😂😂. Play with the weakest clan member. Ignore your hunger and thirst until you're almost dead. Don't make weapons even though you have the ability. Don't teach other clan members what food is safe. Don't teach clan members how to fight and defend themselves. Make stupid decisions when you are in a weakened state. And push yourself far beyond your limits while you completely ignore the intent of the game. Got it! Now I know how to play like an idiot 🤣🤣🤣

@@Casta2 True but just like most players he was focused on pushing the game rather than actually learning. Games should be played with the intent of gaining knowledge and understanding the mechanics. Especially if you're going to upload it to a social platform. So many streamers lack insight, foresight, problem solving skills, attention to detail and focus. I started in the construction industry as a laborer and worked my way up to Project Supervisor because of dedication, attention to detail, foresight and plain old intelligence. I watched several episodes and he did get better. Not because of experimentation or reasoning but because of the advice of the comments. He knew beforehand that the game involved a lot of experimentation and slow progression but still tried to rush. He knew it involved group management but still played like it was a solo game. I've watched other series he's uploaded and he's definitely a person who needs his hand held with linear progression and constant tips/hints.

I would say they need that even less all they need is to record it and post it. Goal is most of the time not to enjoy the game but to create entertainment. If you dont like the content then they fail to entertain you and all you got to do is watch something else. Most youtuber miss lots of informations in games because they are thinking about all of what they have to say to the audience. Even the biggest gaming youtubers miss easy to see mechanics for average players. Its easy to take the time and read everything when you are alone and that's all you need to do. So in no way can you compare an average players to a youtuber player.

And that's exactly why the vast majority of subscribers don't remain active. Most of their views are from people who aren't subscribed. I constantly see KZbinrs complain that less than 10% of their views are from subscribers. And rather than work on the issues that are causing the low subscriber views (poor quality content, ignoring the community comments, focusing on quantity over quality, substandard game play, trying to beat the game as quickly as possible, skipping much of the game content and a sheer lack of skill) they resort to begging for likes, comments and subscribers. A Streamer/KZbinr needs to realize that the viewers will only remain if they are provided with quality entertainment. A TV series gains loyal viewers by providing quality entertainment, a well balanced story, consistency, attention to detail, foresight, compelling dialogue and a full background/progression of the characters. KZbinrs should focus on those same aspects. If you have 1 million subscribers and only 125,000 views and only 9,000 of those views are from subscribers then you're doing something seriously wrong.

Of course its less efficient subcribwr and view wise but even someone extremely annoying to most would have people liking that exact way of playing/making videos. With the amount of youtuber there is we as viewers can easily choose who to watch by finding people who match our preferences without having to change the ones that doesn't. It is not the viewers job to make the youtube channel successful.

They don’t until you learn a lot of the dodge branch, there’s a enzyme that lets them dodge attacks and then another one that lets them attack when give a weapon like a stone or sharpened stick or hard bone (I always have a hard bone with me and a shape stick, the bone never breaks so it’s great!)

I’ve had so many problems with the cats showing up and attacking! And a big snake had a nest on the back half of that cave. It’s just too much ground to try and fence off. If you go the other way instead of this way (opposite side following the arch landmark by the very first settlement spot) you can find the cascade oasis and that’s got one entrance which can be fenced off pretty well!

The day I relised thos sabortooths can jump in stuff like low hanging branches I was fuxked, cos I built my beds in trees it completely made me change, lol like for example most people look for a good place to settle I look for a good tree with some coconuts near by that's my minimum and be happy content lol, but the moment I relised them cats can jump up on a low branch it messed me up lol well to be fair in only happend the one time so it could of been a glitch or the AI was like ya knkw what fuck this guy

never go exploring as an elder, you will get penalised for each death when you finally evolve, your clan member died through lack of food, a stupid place to set up camp, you need to learn how to craft tools like a chopper and a grinder as well which is what you should have done in the first couple of days after unlocking the twitch hands capability.

Elders are only good for traveling through the land without conquering your fear. But when you go as a normal you have to, but you get points for conquering so it’s just better to be an adult.

Why do you have a fertile female? The VERY first thing I do when I get a female. Make 2 babies, Fertile females are like the most valuable thing in the game without them it's pretty much game over. Mate the fertile with an elder male that has some type of good mutation Then take the 3 females with the 2 babies where ever you're going so you get all the extra points Leave the males behind so you can have the young ones turn to elders and mate later. Elder females don't have as much value except they can explore more/ further but have less stamina and health. I take the adult females on the trips and leave the males behind so they can mate later
