Your recent African ancestry tells a story too. It reflects the Spanish activity in the Atlantic Slave Trade in the 19th century. The Spanish picked up slave trading post-Haitian Revolution to PR and Cuba.

Taino came from South America to PR That is the Indigenous Eastern South American part. The Irish/Scottish, Brit is because of how Spain was populated in primitive times. Spain was populated by Ireland in the north"the Celts" and from the south by the "Mors" that crossed the one mile stretch of the Mediterranean at the straight of Gibraltar the two mixed and made the "Celtiberos" The Romans came in for about 500 years also then after them the Mors came again and controlled the lower portion od Spain

Hello Natalia, I Saw your 23 and me DNA results I enjoyed your video. As for me my parents are Puerto Rican and they're parents are also from the island. I did my DNA and it turns out I'm 68% Greek, 30% Roman Celtic (meaning Nordic,Germanic, Irish). 20% Corsican sicilian. As it turns out I don't have spanish DNA lmao. I took 3 different DNA test just to be sure they didn't make a mistake. As it turns out they all came back the same. I saw on your video that yauco was on your list of potential ancestry. Well I am from yauco and as it turns out, yauco was predominantly european settler's. The town flag says on it the City of Corso. Never really ever read it until I researched. As it turns out the city is composed of families from Italy, Spain, Scottish, Irish, Greeks . And Galicia was a area where Nordic Germanic tribes lived Long before Spain got it's name from the the Roman Emperor Caeser.

@@amanintheice632 I believe that may be because of the royal decree of graces from 1815 which if you didn’t know Puerto Rico used to be majority black and indigenous peoples and so the spanish crown as a way of changing the populations racial makeup, imcentivised immigration from other countries, (I believe asian countries were included as well) but I digress it led to a lot of immigration to Puerto Rico from European countries.

Portugal is just western Spanish. Galicians and Asturians, Northwestern SPaniards, repopulated today's Portuguese territory and western Spain. It is not that Galicia is close to Portuguese territory, but the other way around. Portuguese and people from Western Spain come from Galicians and Asturians. That's the Portuguese dna, which is in reality Northwestern Spanish. Most poeple going to America were people from Extremadura (Western Spain), and in the latest centuries, Galicians (North Western Spain). And that's the suppopsedly "Portuguese" ancestry.

Greetings. I am part of the African diaspora but I have Iberian connections via Puerto Rico and Azores Portugal (I have an unknown paternal great-grandmother) and I have many 3rd and 4th Puerto Rican and Portuguese cousin matches. I also match people from Cuba and Mexico on the Iberian side. I also have Sicilian ancestry via my maternal grandfather’s grandfather. As well I have British ancestry. Furthermore, the ancestry timeline does NOT work for people who have ties to the Americas for centuries and are heavily admixed with European, indigenous and/or African. The ancestry timeline assumes there is “one” ancestor of that ancestral background and it is certainly not the case that someone from the Americas would have one African ancestor or one indigenous ancestor or one Portuguese ancestor. The ancestry timeline should be taken with a grain of salt. In fact, all these estimates and timelines should be taken with a grain of salt. The only accurate part of testing is cousin matches and people should be studying their matches to confirm or verify their ancestry. This point has been argued by all genetic genealogists.

You are a true 10 tribe Queen..A real Sephardic. The only ones with a twin mutant gene. Your DNA results show the scars of all the Captivities you've been through. Twin DNA Identifies Jacob and Esau 1. Nigerian - Esau /Twin (mutation gene) Main Base: Nigeria Sons and Daughters: Mexico, Cape Verde, Congolese, Angola, Sierra Leone, Brazil, Islands, mixed everywhere, latin america ( All places contain some Israel Also) *2. Cameroon, Congo,West Bantu - Jacob (Offset for Nigerian twin mutation, special to Jacob only) 3. Ghana - Shem/Elam 4. Senegal- Medes 5. Mali- Persia 6. Benin Togo- Levites of Israel- 7. Southern Bantu - Northern kingdom Levites 8. Ireland/Scotland - Judah Only- Also has 1,2,3,4,5,6. Judah is everywhere, color is irrelevant. The level of these ingredients could be irrelevant as long as they posses #2 The Jacob/Israel twin mutation gene. They knew this whole time, who we were and who our twin was. Now we know who they are.

The Ancestry update does not seem correct for people who I manage tests for and most people reacting in genetic genealogy groups. 23andMe seems the most accurate. The estimates should be taken with a grain of salt. You can upload to FTDNA, MyHeritage and GedMatch from the test you took. I hope you get your parents to test. I have my parents and my kids tested.
@Dotz_Sumimasen
@Dotz_Sumimasen 3 жыл бұрын
I disagree. In my experience with these tests, 23andMe does a poor job at explaining their estimates & relevancy of trace/low confidence results, their website/app is not as user friendly for the average customer and the estimates of tests I manage with both companies have the AncestryDNA results better supporting the genealogy research we have done. There’s a plethora of genealogy researchers who shake their head at the misinformation 23andMe seems to hand out as fact rather than fully informing customers that these are estimates. The only real worth we have received from 23andMe is the access to other matches. Our FTDNA and MyHeritage estimates were generic and inaccurate respectively. The Y-DNA and maternal haplogroup info and matches were helpful at FTDNA, but both their and MyHeritage’s website’s are not for the casual user. GEDMatch is problematic with the hacking last summer and paywall to get reports that barely make sense to the average user. I’d not recommend unless you are into genealogy hard core and don’t mind anyone who finds your info to have access to it. I absolutely agree with your message that these results should be taken with a grain of salt. ALL of these companies are making guesses based upon their own database samples and calculation criteria.

it depends what you want from the test if you want dna matches their is no need to do the test for you and your siblings if your parents are willing to do it. Also your parents aren't going to pass down anything they don't have so if you get them both to it I wouldn't have your brother do it unless you want to specifically know what was passed down but know of it will really be a surprise especially if your parents do it first.
