Hey Indies welcome back to my channel! In todays video i will be sharing with you guys the process of getting an ancestry DNA kit from ancestry.com , and my DNA test results. I was surprised at first but now I'm happy i can finally look into my heritage and background. This process is easy and takes about 4-6 weeks because of high demand. That's a large percentage of Jewish ancestry. You must have a fully Jewish grandparent. You should ask your family if you don't know or trace it by your matches. If it's your mother's mother, then you are technically Jewish according to biblical law.

I’m 40% Nigerian 24% Sierra Leonean 13% Central African ( Ethiopian, chad, keyian, Congo and Sudan) 14% north and west European (6%German, 3%France, 5%Netherlands;Milan,Czech rep.,Austria,Andorra) 7% Irish, Scottish, and welsh 2% West Asian (it just circled the whole part so idk which part lol)

Have you asked your grandparents about the Jewish cause gurl you Ashkenazi Jewish! That means you might have had a Jewish grandparent or further back from both sides of your family

@@Indigosevenn It’s the ethnicity for European Jewish but there are also Sephardic Jews from Spain. I was just wondering because it’s quite a high percentage, equivalent to one grandparent if you got it from one side.

I guessed you would be around 70/30 African and European. You were definitely getting all the country names right up until you got to Senegal lol but thanks for sharing!

@@Indigosevenn Very interesting video and you did a great job on it. My results were shocking for me. I did it with MH. My fiance is PR. We both took the tests AFTER we met. Her genetic community is PR. My genetic groups are AA from 1) SC, 2) NY & all of those states in-between up to Eastern TX. And shockingly the last one is in 3) PR. IDK how but it must've happened in the 1800's. It's the 2nd strongest in rank. We are both PR... HA🇵🇷! Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Are all of your grandparents African American? One of your biological grandparents is likely fully Jewish considering you have such a high amount (and it's not unheard of for black Americans to accumulate quite a bit of northwestern European DNA over time, but very unheard of for them to randomly accumulate Jewish DNA) The cousin you share 14% DNA with means it has to be a son of one of your parents full siblings. If not, then it means he is a half sibling of one of your parents. Did this cousin of yours happen to have a high percentage of Jewish ancestry? If so then you should ask him about his father, because his father may very likely be your grandfather. I don't mean to sound disrespectful towards your grandparents, but is it possible that one set of your grandparents used a fertility clinic? If not, then your grandmother may simply be harbouring a secret, and is purposely not revealing who her child's father is

Wow you have 25 or more percent Jewish ? I'm jealous I came out with only 1% after being told we had Jewish ancestry in our family. My dad has Uganda, Bantu, and Congo in his results too, with 3 more places in Africa in small percents but they all add up, so fascinating. I have 2 areas in Africa that he has in his results too. He came out with Scotland, Jewish, too and other places in tiny percents. Dna is so interesting, so happy to hear your results.

Same, my results are more accurate to what I know about my genealogy... I however got Norway 3% in my results, very interesting stuffs...

@@noneckedbuddy.2297 yeah, my highest was Scotland at 57%, then England I think was at 33% then Wales 6%, then Ireland 4%... Now it's England at 43%, Scotland 32%, Ireland at 20%, Norway 3% and Wales at 2%...

no but you do have to pay for a subscription if you want access to any records on ancestry

if your matrilineal side is jewish, that technically makes you a jew. If so, you can take that as a political position

Nice results. I think I heard you say that you are mostly European but when I added up your European I get 32% and your African is 68% so that would make you mostly African. Apology if I heard you incorrectly. Thanks for sharing your results.
