best ropin horse we ever had is a Morgan/Clydesdale cross, good head, gobs of heart, and very mellow, Bosal and a Mecate rein, no bit, and just a pleasure to work off of . We don't rope our own stock though, the Bison are just a tad too much if ya happen to catch one.

You bet it’s addictive‼️ Mulelys….I’ve heard that if ya can catch muleleys, ya can catch horns. But not necessarily the other way around. I heel, so I don’t know. Maybe it’s because roping muleleys is kinda rare. Just watched Clovis and Guymon, both of those rodeos were muleleys and the headers seemed to really struggle. I would think a brisket is a brisket, horns or not. What do y’all think?

I am so excited to see all the activities I saw when I was young 60 years ago. Your kids are so lucky, learning like your sweet Reggie (sp?)is learning. “I should’a married a cowboy”, carried on, but got crazy, quit roping and moved to California. Big mistake!
