Well it’s the shape of that object and the fact that it seemed to change course that got peoples attention. BUT seeing how we don’t get a lot of visitors from outside the solar system we have no idea if that could just be a common thing with interstellar objects. But yes it is very interesting. Reminds me of the book “Rendezvous with Rama”. It’s a story about the exploration of an interstellar craft that entered our solar system. And when the go to see what’s inside they discover it’s been abandoned with nothing but strange robotic organisms milling about. It’s really a great read and I think I heard that Dennis Villanueva is gonna make it into a movie!

Confirmed or not we can acknowledge objects from other stars have "visited" our solar system, most of our solar system probably consists of objects from far beyond the closest star, alpha centauri if I recall? Not gonna look it up.

I agree that asking questions is important, but it goes both ways: the same people that say they want to know the truth get mad when it's flipped on them, and people look more in-depth at certain topics that might paint them or the entire entity in a not-so-flattering way.

I agree...the problem is whenever a new concept is put forth that challenges traditional beliefs it's dismissed outright, layman's to the subject tend to defend their initial position rather than admit ignorance.
