If you cross your eyes like you would for a stereogram you will see three images.

So I though the same thing but I had such an unexplainable surreal experience at work yesterday that I thought it must have had something to do with this so I came to watch it again and this time at about 4 minutes, I got it. I could see the deeper layers and it felt like this allows you to create whatever reality you want. You will get a very powerful a d beautiful 3d effect at around 4 minutes and when you do, it changes you. But really try it. Put your phone/screen far, lay down, use headphones and relax with it. It is worth it. Ima go again.

How big should the video be on the screen? If it's sized too big or too small, I imagine the effect wouldn't work.

M. Strain Jr. Bigger makes the effect more deep - smaller makes the effect more shallow. Any size will work because your crossed eyes overlaying the two images compensates for the difference between big or small :) Personally, I find it best viewed full screen but sitting about 6 to 8 feet away. This is definitely hard on your eyes... having to cross them for the effect. Magic eye poster thingies work from diverging your eyes, like gazing into the distance... and it's far easier on them. Apparently, this doesn't seem to work the same way.

It’s harder but I came from a page that explains two ways to see them. One is the distant one (divergent) and the other is more cross eyed. This one is a little more difficult for me and I think it’s cos I have an astigmatism (and I feel more nauseous). But I can still see if I use more effort. And oh god typing after viewing these is difficult. Edit: I know this comment is old but someone might be having a similar issue.

Easy to loss focus on it - this is the hardest stereogramm which im able to see since 3 days ago. Very easy to see many pictures but the real challenge the movies and yep, i saw in the past 3 days more than 300 pictures and 1 movie, but only this one was real challange to keep/maintain the focus. The changes and that: there is just few times an really looks like 3d objects and mostly nothing 3d so these 2 things making together real challenge

Guys and girls. I was quite upset as I see images regularly, not 100% but most. This one seemed impossible. Tried different sizes and distance but no way to see 3 dots at beginning. Then I tried on phone, 4". Holding it on on knees I managed to see it fast. But when I took glasses I had to take half distance lol. So experiment with size and distance. Good luck.

The guy below me says how wonderful this one is...I'm pretty good at seeing them but there's nothing here. For one thing they're too far apart to form the stereovision. And for another, when I'm tired the focus relaxes too far.
