I have come to my conclusion on how they made these. We all know carbon fiber right? How strong but brittle? Well, as a fiber artist and gardener, id bet that fabric made from tropical vines and dipped in rubber would be both super duper strong and flexible, not brittle like modern carbon fiber. Totally able to hold large amounts of cement until it set. The nubs and u can see horizontal log marks also, look to be propping the soft sided bags up while they set. Then they burned the rubber bags away. The vitrification. Rubber burns super hot. Maybe it even helps set it. Who knows. The Olmecs were the Rubber People. They've been using rubber forever, making waterproof fabrics and sails for fisherman for eons.

Qual será o motivo ou função daqueles ressaltos que existem em algumas das pedras. Curioso.

Its knobs are also on the surface of the beautifully finished flat stone walls. I still don't know of any theory that solves the meaning of that knob that I find truly convincing.
