The centurion match, you could have win if you continue to combo and get the continous trap. That continous trap makes your monster immuned to monster effect

ehh i would have had to summon dark golem with tanker then, which they would very likely hit with the counter trap. Was trying to bait it out before committing to Golem, but they also drolled me ☠ But i'm not playing commander+duel anyway, so it's all hypothetical😅

I've tried those before, but they've been bricks a lot of times in my opening hand. Kinda need to see boardbreakers at the higher ranks 😅 Duel giving Nibiru protection is very good though, but against other disruptions Fortress is already enough protection imo.

Just got to DLv. 20 with Ancient Gears! The only thing is I still make so many mistakes with the deck and i literally autoloss to Lightsworn Tear, but finding a way through and punching through all that bs is so fun

Nice congrats! Yea i find those mill pile decks also pretty annoying with their GY interactions. You could try out soul release if you want a funny tech against them (and Snake-Eyes).

i think it's just me, but i felt more powerhouse vibe seeing ancient gear in action than the blue eyes and such, sure, blue eyes have that negation, destruction and fancy chaos max stuff thing, but ancient gear's gimmick is basically "i'm gonna punch you, you gonna take it and there's nothing you can do about it" and it just screams absolute chad powerhouse to me XD

I think your best bet is establishing Fortress on the field before committing to important AG summons like Dark Golem. With Fortress up a lot of their reactive or targeting disruption won't work and the only handtrap that can stop you is Nibiru.

I have beaten some weaker Tenpai players with Chaos Giant pass, but for extra measure you can also go for Galaxy Photon Dragon and search Kuriphoton. Just dropped a new vid and in the very last game i go for that combo line against Tenpai (even though Galaxy Photon gets negated 😅).

Making Ancient Gears is always a very good decision, it is the coolest deck after all 😉 Fortress is kind of a cheat card yes.

18:57 Ahh yes the so called RANDOM effect strikes again seriously though good effort reaching MAX I'm struggling big time something I would suggest swap out Ultimate Slayer and a copy of Triple Tactics Thrust for an extra Geartown and a copy of Duel and Commander it's helped me with consistency.

I really want to use AG duel more often, but at this point (I'm at DL. 17 with AGs) AG commander, OG golem and AG duel are bricks if the opponent happens to negate dark golem. I see why you don't have it in your list.

Yea i've tried them before, they're definitely useful and give the deck more variety. But whenever i open them it's so bricky and i just wish they would've been boardbreakers instead.
