From Kalaripayattu there is Kung fu who is founded by the Indian Yogi Bodhidharma, from Kung fu there is Karate when it went further east. To add, even South East Asian martial arts came from the South Indian Martial Arts. Kalaripayattu is the mother of both Indian and Eastern Martial Arts

Rajput pahadi raja were with mughals all the time and they never taught anything to anyone ...except one that if you want to save dynasty then marry your women's to mugals... it's a fact conside it.. otherwise give the reference..

Both take forward ancient techniques. Both have been specified regionally as these two regions took ti forward right upto today when its demonstrated. So they have taken a unique Id. but the tradition behind them remain far earlier jn time. Same applies to manipur marital arts too.
