Some years ago I gave a bottle of water to an old homeless man. I silently blessed the water for him and as he looked up, I saw his eyes were bright and full of gratitude. I met Ma in 1977. being very angry with my own mother and not able to trust women, it was impossible for me to bow for her. Ma doubled up with laughter and called the women around her, pointing at me. I could die on the spot. There's archaeological evidence that Hindu culture has been little changed for 10,000 years at least. If we can believe that Kali Yuga began around 5,000 years ago and that the big battle in the Mahabharat occurred at the start of Kali Yuga, then it's obvious that Sanatana Dharma predates that incarnation of Krishna by many thousands of years. One of my spiritual teachers has said that the Vedas are as old as mankind.

I'm so sorry about your young dog. I've lost my dog about two years ago and it's hard to understand why did he die. The vet has told me to cook rice with meat and vegetables for my dog when he was unwell, and he did get better for a while during his illness. But it was too late; the damage done by feeding him canned dog food was irreparable. If you ever plan to have another dog, remember to always cook his food. It's so easy as you can cook the rice, meat and vegetables all together in the same pot. Cut the meat in small pieces and it will take the same time to cook as the rice and vegetables all together. Don't give your dog onions or garlic. You can vary the type of meat and vegetables. Your dog will thrive and will love you for the tasty food. Canned dog food is ultra processed and contains all sorts of additives causing kidney failure and cancer in dogs. Sorry to lecture you like this, especially when you're grieving your beautiful dog, but if maybe only a couple of dog owner change their dog's diet as the result of this message, than that's such a good news. I love my Anandamayi Ma. I am a disciple of Mahavatar Babaji. I was initiated by Roy Davis on several occasions ,who was a direct disciple and Swami of Paramahansa Yogananda. When Roy was 18 he went to meet Yogananda for the first time. I think when Anandamayi Ma saw Yogananda the first time and said father you have finally come,she saw Mahavatar Babaji ,who i think she later went to see after she left her body.

It's inspiring in a way and liberating, but the material side of our existence should also be addressed. We are in these bodies for a reason. I think we should be able to enjoy life through each other in a communion of shared love. However, the system in place makes us slaves oblivious of our divine essence and alienated in the presence of each other. In such conditions, a spiritual development is incomplete without material freedom from an enslaving system!! The beggar she met would agree with such a realisation, and more so those who have reached enlightenment and have been there for a while...
