⚜ Greetings, from Castle Saint James~ I'm pretty sure there were no electric, accent lights in ancient Rome. Why not just say Rome? It would seem more realistic. Carry on. Good day. ~James🛡

I really love the slow, minor key playing of the lyre in this. I've been really upset recently trying to get over someone who loves someone else, and for some reason, the music in this video reminded me of how universal longing and heartbreak is for people. Thousands of years ago, some random Roman guy was just as sad as I am while plucking away at his lyre, and I find a weird sense of comfort in that.

Thank you so much for sharing this deeply personal reflection. It’s truly moving to know that the music and atmosphere of the video resonated with you on such a heartfelt level. The idea that human emotions-longing, heartbreak, and even solace-connect us across millennia is so profound. I hope this video continues to bring you some comfort and peace. Remember, even in sadness, you’re never alone.

*The garden was the only place where the Emperor felt any sense of peace and serenity away from the chaos that was Rome. Day after day, senators appealed to him for approval of this or that legislation, requests for assistance in provincial matters from the governors, and petitions from Plebian and Patrician groups. As Emperor, he had to juggle all of these demands while also trying to maintain the imperial might of Rome. By the gods, it was exhausting. As the Emperor walked through the garden, he found himself wishing yet again he was back to being a general fighting against Germanic tribes. His ascension to the throne was due to the incompetence and flagrant disregard for the Empire's safety by the previous Emperor. The Legions supported him, the generals supported him, and so did the people of Rome. The Senate on the other hand was a different story alltogether.*

The popping noise corrupted most of the lyre music. Sad!
@ryanradpictures7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I’m always exploring different ambient designs to enhance the viewing experience. The popping sounds are part of a deliberate composition to complement the lyre music with a unique atmosphere. Your input is valuable, and I will continue to refine the balance between the music and ambient sounds. Thank you for watching and for your support!

@@ryanradpictures You are very kind! I thought it imperative that a Roman ambience music shall at least have one Latin comment to accompany it.
@ryanradpictures7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! I wholeheartedly agree, the rich history of Rome is best celebrated with a touch of Latin. Your comment adds the perfect classical essence to this journey. Gratias tibi ago!
