In the book of James it says to submit or humble ourselves before God to resist the devil and he will flee. So we resist the devil by turning to end submitting to God. This scripture makes much sense to me now after your message thank you so much!

Such a vital teaching, thank you. As an Anglican priest I’ve heard so many people insist that they will never give up trying to fix themselves by constantly obsessing over their negative thoughts which only ties them up in greater knots and develops anger towards themselves. Far better to turn to Christ and refuse to allow any attention for the thoughts that accuse us. God’s love is powerful to hold our attention away from all the thoughts that harm us.

This is how you adapt to the new generation father. We are so caught up in mental warfare without a clue the chances we go and see a priest 1 on 1 is very rare and this gives us the wisdom of doing so. God bless you and all the other priests doing God work.

I have been in situations where I was not permitted to escape from physical, mental, & emotional attack. I was lead to the Psalms during that time & they sustained me. Even tho I'm no longer in those situations at the moment, there are repeated spiritual attacks that come for periods of time. The confusion & panic in the mind is insurmountable. "Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy. Thy will be done"... is my prayer until the attack ends. I am so thankful for God's love & grace.

Oh, no, these videos are not silly at all, they are very useful for us lay people. This idea of running away from evil thoughts and behaviours is very helpful, the more so as it leads us to understand more deeply that Lord Jesus is our Saviour in our daily spiritual battles if we chose to turn to Him. Probably there is a reason that God made me to watch your video. I always fall into sin, and immediately I felt very regretful for what I have done.
