Can't believe that these guys are still together after all this time! And still sounding great, polished, and professional. I miss Havas and Burrows, but glad that the Jones' are both still at the forefront. God! They both look great and have all their hair!!! I saw them at a tiny club in Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 1991, on their Farewell to the Shade tour, when I was just a 20 year old kid...they stunned me. Such an odd place for them to be as well, and they seemed really unhappy to be there! There must have been less than ten of us in the audience, maybe that's why. I consider myself incredibly luck to have been living a short walk from that club at that particular time, otherwise I would never have seen them in person. Would love to see them again someday, post Covid. Great work boys!

I saw them first 1988. Good memories. And 1991 was my favorite tour. I was slightly older than you... 22. The Rag and bone man may be my favorite Album though. I followed them in all the years and am eternally grateful for their generosity letting me always taking photos and film them. I am sure they will tour after Covid19. Lets hope! Thanks for your nice comment and sharing your memories! Love from Germany

Simon and Justin still look so young, music must keep young! Go and listen to Robert Smith, he still sounds like he is in his 20s

Vielen Dank! Thanks so much! This is great work! Yes, I know the issue with the gaps that have to be filled with clips. A now defunct Kodak camera that I have does not have that issue, but Cannon and Samsung do. The Cannon and Samsung video quality is FAR superior to the Kodak though. This is lovely, and the audio feed as well. The angle is at first surprising, but as the show continues I begin to appreciate the unique view of the keyboard work, bass clarinet and bass guitar with the "core" members Simon, Justin, and Paul off in the distance....I LIKE it, as a contrast to the recent documentary in that it does not repeat the same close up shots but offers a "true" perspective of an audience member. How often to you approach the stage at a gig, only to find the closest you can get is on the far right or left? This is pretty routine for me, as the front is always full of obsessive fanatics that won't budge and inch, or drunks who want a lot of space. Anyway, this is about what I could have expected to see had I been able to fly from Southern California to see them in Deutschland! I appreciate the care in very good syncing of the video and very steady camera work. Not easy when hand holding the camera in a crowd. Thanks so much for sharing. I assume, you were the source from Dime who also taped an audience recording from the stage under the keyboards. Thanks for sharing that on Dime as well. Finally, thanks also for your Belgium video. Keep them coming! -Tashi

Thanks for your comment. The Videofiles are so bloated, so you reach so fast the 4GB limit. Once, I had MagigLantern, a free firmware, on my canon 5DMK2, I could kompress videos a little more, so that I could film about 30min in one take, that was cool :) I will check, if its possible to find a similar firmware for the MK3. The angle is okay, but of course standing more in the centre would have been nice :) but as you said its nice to watch the musicians, their fingers etc.

I have the impression that lately, Simon and Justin appeal to jazz musicians, this is not a positive one.
