Saka managed to sneak into the first team when our first team was complete trash. Nwaneri is 17 and could genuinely keep odegaard out of the team. There have been games where odegaard isn’t on it and if that happened, I’d trust nwaneri above anyone else in that role. He’s confident, skillful, he glides like hazard. We have a future star here

Timber’s and Calafiori’s dribbling provides us the “magic” we need to progress the ball. In the past, when we couldn’t progress the ball, we look stuck. We would keep passing the ball between our defenders, failing to create chances. Rice has slightly improved his positioning in possession. He is now more clever in dropping in and out of the opponent press. He now has a better understanding of creating/utilising numerical advantage at the back. Seems like something he has learned from Zinchenko. And also, he played a few long switches today. It’s good to see that he is trying to improve on his biggest weaknesses. Nwaneri played really well.

I'll be honest I think there might be a couple things to be critical of but that was by FAR our best overall performance this season. I'm sorry but Leicester are fortunate we didn't score like 8 lol. And the goals we let in I mean again I could be slightly critical on a couple things but let's be honest those aren't normal goals you'll concede regularly. Big deflection (which happens) and just a wonderstrike. Gotta give Justin credit for that finish for their 2nd.

I think the 2nd half was all about energy conservation considering we have PSG in 3 days time. Backfired big time. In the end we consumed more energy in winning it at the end. Level on points with the 116 point chargees.

We signed merino for that reason, 2 duel winning midfielders, he just sadly got injured and we got forced to play consistently with partey or jorginho who just dont have the legs anymore to track back due to age

Saka was UNREAL today. Best performance of the season so far, imo. Contrary to public opinion, i still don't think nwaneri should start games (despite great cameo). He should be eased into the first 1q. No need to put unnecessary pressure on the kid. He got 17 min today, maybe next game he gets 20-30 odd minutes.

To be fair to arteta he coached a 6 - 7 nil win today, possibly even more, quite a few situations that we could have done better with in advanced positions but the final ball was the wrong one but we should have had 5-6 comfortably today. In regards to Leicesters goals yes maybe a little lax but on another day that first goal is blocked, it could have gone anywhere and Justin might hit 1 out of 100 like that for the 2nd goal. Reminded me of the Fulham game last season where we drew 2-2, Fulham literally had 2 shots and they both went in, sometimes you have those games but we pulled it out the bag at the end, we just need to be more clinical but hopefully with odegaard and merino coming back we will have more people capable of putting the ball in the net.

Don’t know if it’s just me but I was not panicking. We were playing well and I believed we would get it. Ok obviously after 85 mins you start worrying. But to me we played well, if a little open and loose at times. But I liked our play and feel we were just undone by one unlucky deflection and one wonder strike.

That game is a great example of how small margins matter. We dominated the game at large and yet, Leicester had the margins with them in key moments and it almost changed the outcome of the game.

Partey is an abomination. Been saying it since last year. Not sure what Robbie's been on about always saying "he done well" after every disaster performance this year. Have more faith in the 16 year old keeper to not make a mess of things. Hopefully Nwaneri can acclimate fitness a bit, and then of course once Merino and Odegaard are back I'd be happy to never see Partey again
