The next on is actually good - Galactic Republic - one of the biggest factions with a bunch of good teams. CG has lately sucked on these GCs, though. Really awful.

It took like half an hour, but I managed with R3 Jawa and G8 on the rest with scav lead. Lots of resets, but eventually I got enough dodges with Jawa and the perfect set of turns for them to end up with 20-30 thermals on their whole team to nuke with scav.

Man, only took 45 minutes of trying it out but my Jawas finally pulled through and got the feats. Ability blocked Echo, Tech basic, Hunter first special to Wrecker that did nothing, and Omega focused on my leader who couldn't die. RNG finally went my way after seeing probably a hundred or more Jawas get blasted away by them.

I used Cad Bane lead, wtih Boushh, Krrsantan, Dengar and Greedo. Couldn't get max tier done, because my Krrsantan and Greedo are still only G12, but atleast some feats were possible. Update: I used Bossk lead with Mando, Greef, Boushh and Dengar. Took a couple of attempts, but if you manage to hit contract and take out Wrecker with Mandos insta-kill you can just not kill Hunter with the Event ability and farm the needed Thermals with Boushh on the invincible Hunter. You have to leave 1 other character alive tho, because otherwise Hunter will no longer be immortal. Pretty sure any 5th member works, even if they don't have thermals and it might even work with Boba instead of Boushh and jsut farming the aoe thermals, but I didn't try that.

I'm on an almost 6 months old Fresh Start F2P account. And i have literally only been able to do 6 feats in total over these last 3 Galactic Challenges counting this one. Before the change i could atleast get some shards and Omicrons and i was starting to get up to higher tiers, but now it's literally useless for me. Being a new player i do not have many teams farmed and geared up to the point of being usable. It's a shame because i actually enjoyed the old Galactic Challenges.

One thing to note is the challenge says to ATTEMPT to apply thermals, meaning you don’t actually need to land them.

It lost its flavor. Only managing level 6 in those last 3, when I was gold/red crating every week. Big looses of ressources (omicrons, shards, injectors...)

It does kind of suck I'll be honest. You get 15/16 omis without even touching GC feats now, though. not that it makes the game fun to play though.
