I'm probably in the minority of making my albums. I enjoy creating them from scratch and using colors to coordinate from the papers I'm going to use. I do what Shannon does with cutting all my papers and organizing them. It is so much easier. So I'm with you Shannon! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks in creating an album. Thank you Maymay!! I have been working on a Unicorn journal for my granddaughter for month! I could not get the spine and the signatures to measure out right for anything! I watched this today and you were doing the cut apart for the front and back and you said something that turned on a light bulb for me. You said that you were not going to let something you were working on tell you how to....., but you were going to tell it how it was going to work for you. When you said that I got the best idea and tried it out and WOW it works! Thank you Maymay!!

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You are so inspiring. As a designer for 49 and Market, I have the priveledge to work with their products. I have two pre-made albums and I have not decorated them. i love making my own, but they can be very frustrating sometimes when something gets crooked, especially the spine piece with the hinges. Did that once on a 11x11 album. Couldn't use it, and it is sitting right where I can see it now, begging to be fixed and used, lol. Love your videos, advice and humor.

I like your front and back inside cover pockets. I think I would glue the paper onto a blank page first, and then cut out the outline, just to give a little more strength to the pocket. Just an idea.

It is the chocolate. Cadbury USA has lots of preservatives and wax added, whereas in British chocolate very little is added. That is why the taste is different and Cadbury makes the fruit and nut bar
