To be fair, yes, entertainment is subjective. There will be fans no matter what. But hating on the show wasnt trendy, it had legit reasons. It feels like the writers of the show completely forgot what made the original show so good. The characters are terrible, especially cynthia nix...I mean miranda Hobbs. Since when has miranda not know how to act around people of different colors? She dated a black man and went to a middle eastern country and was very respectful towards their culture. Not to mention the MAJOR hypocrisy with her cheating on Steve. Charlotte and Harry are played off like idiot parents with spoiled children. Not to mention the cringe of wanting black friends so they could say they're not racist 😳 Samantha who has stuck by these girls through major times left because of a money dispute? No, I'm not buying it. That was the stupidest way to write her off. Carrie isnt that bad. But man, the outfits and her hair are off the wall horrible. The side characters are token minorities who are used to "make up" for the lack of diversity in the original show. They're not actual characters. I could go on and on, but you playing dismissive of why the show is terrible is not fair.
