Get Clone Hero, grab all 3k songs that comprise the whole Guitar Hero / Rock Band setlist. It works absolutely perfectly, better than the consoles ever did. Also, works with all the peripherals no matter the system, Well worth the price of Zero.

I had this on Wii but never got it on Xbox because Microsoft were still using the stupid points currency system back then and I couldn't afford it. Ah well, there's always Clone Hero.
