Great stuff Rob, I have a handful of what I call 'shop window' lawns, typically gardens near the beginning of housing developments or in public view of main roads etc. I always try to do a little extra, above and beyond the strim, mow, blow and go. The amount of new work that comes in when people see you parked outside is staggering if the garden looks top notch. Do it for free on a hadful of select lawns to generate new paying customers is perfectly sensible.

Hi Rob, can I ask how often you apply the treatments for 'free' customers? I've been thinking about doing this myself, but I've read the liquid fertilizer only lasts a couple weeks in the soil. If it's only 3 times a year then what you're saying makes sense, but if I need to reapply it regularly then it seems more time and hassle than the benefits.
