I'm so happy to see fire island dance festival again. Akira, your choreo is impressive. I was reminded of my childhood, a time when dancing was pure joy. I love your look at the body language, which makes the artists appear so light, happy and proud and clearly distinguishes itself from heteronormative body language. Thank you for this beautiful morning here in Germany.

Your words definitely resonate. A big part of what I wanted to do with this piece was to capture joy and moments of connection both between the dancers and the audience, and doing so in a non-gendered way. Thank you, means a lot ❤
