@@Jesussaves-m4j Yes major respect for Nathan especially for that time period. He let Elizabeth figure out her heart and take the lead in the relationship. That's not common in that time period for the woman to take the lead, but Nathan knew after all Elizabeth had went through that she needed to be the one to figure it out and take the lead. That's why we got this super sloooow burn though. I enjoyed the gentle, "Love Comes Softly" romance for Elizabeth and Nathan. Then finally we got Elizabeth taking the emotional lead with her apology her speech and ending with "Nathan, I'm in love with you." After that declaration from Elizabeth, Nathan had no problem taking the physical lead. His answer to what she declared was to kiss her, a sweet gentle kiss. Then Nathan said, "I never stopped loving you not for one second." Then kissed her again more passionately. So I would say I'm even more team Nathan now.

I think the last piece of their puzzle fell into place when Nathan came to the schoolhouse and confronted her. He came within inches of her and whispered, "Elizabeth, what do you want? Her eyes took in every part of his face, the sadness, the tears that shimmered in his eyes, and just for a moment, we all knew she wanted to say, "You!" She didn't. His voice raspy with emotion, he said, " I hope it makes you happy. Be safe." When he turned his back and walked out the door, she realized there were two people, besides her son, she could never leave behind. Nathan and Allie. She may have also realized that if Nathan had been elected governor, there would have been no thought about her staying behind in Hope Valley. She, Allie, and Jack would have gone with him. The finality of not having him in her life was unbearable. She finally knew what her choice had to be. Great Love. Not safe love.

I hope you don’t plan to keep Nathan and Elizabeth apart AGAIN judging from the final episode of Season 11 where another Mounty comes to Hope Valley to talk to Elizabeth about her late husband. This is a love story between Nathan and Elizabeth not a murder mystery. Please don’t mess this up.

I'm not against a murder mystery. 😂 It would be a way to put to rest once & for all Jack (Daniel) isn't coming back for those TL who were holding out hope that Jack would be back since E dumped L & got with Nathan. I think Jack was maybe murdered 💔 by dirty cops. He didn't die in an accident. He discovered they were dirty. He found the evidence, but before he could get the evidence to honerable higher up good mounties the dirty cops killed Jack. Also, Nathan while in Fort Clay thought these same cops were dirty mounties. He tried to find the proof the evidence, but before he could he got the evidence gathered & proof found he was transferred because either Hargraves, Nathan's supervisor didn't believe Nathan that these cops were dirty or Hargraves himself is also dirty & wanted Nathan transferred before he could get the proof to higher up honerable good mounties. So. hargraves found a way for Nathan not to listen to his orders.(maybe because it wasn't honerable) So, Hargraves transferred Nathan to Fort Simpson. Now with Hargraves back. Nathan can't investigate this. He is to close to the case. Plus Hargraves would suspect that.. So, Nathan gets Bill to look into the dirty cops & this case about Jack's death. Remember, that Nathan was transferred to Fort Simpson. Then Jack was posted in Fort Clay. I can see the writers writing this story. I don't think Bill & Rosemary investigation would take all season this time though. It's just a way to show Jack is dead & never coming back. Nathan & Elizabeth are the future. The case will bring Nathan & Elizabeth closer as a couple. We will see the case solved by Bill & Rosemary then the official mounties get all the evidence & arrest the dirty cops. I would love to see Nathan arrest Jack's murderer & justice prevail. Then I want to see Nathan comforting Elizabeth. After all this, we see Nathan & Elizabeth marry. They have a very short courtship because before they marry. Elizabeth realizes how much she needs Nathan. Then by S13 we see N & E married & the blended family. ❤
