I'm not a hockey fan, don't even know the rules of the game. Keeso wrote those lines about the game he loves, and they were delivered by two very talented actors. The show is amazing. My thought was, how could he top Letterkenny. He might have.

Shoresy seems like Keesos comedic style has been fully realized. If he keeps making more stories with relatable characters like this, I dont see a future where he doesnt leave his mark on tv as a whole

Honestly that’s how I feel with every team sport. Sports man, everyone should try it once in their life. Teaches life lessons

I've played every sport at least once. (Every major sport anyway) I never had a locker room like the hockey locker room, never had a bond with my team mates like my hockey team mates, never saw and felt the traditions like hockey. Baseball was a close second on the traditions part, but the camaraderie, the humility, the true friendship...hockey is head and shoulders above the rest

i play semi-professional Rocket League (esports) and it's 3v3 soccer but using rocket powered cars instead of people on their feet. the strategy more resembles hockey because of the speed of play and the speed of the ball. and the bonds between long-term tm8s in it is EXACTLY what i see in hockey. and you're right. and the show is right. you take the loss on your shoulders alone, but share the win with the team. would go to the wall for each and every one of them but would still call them an effing useless twat on the way. our heads all down together after a loss, our arms up hugging after a win. i've only seen this in 2 places... hockey and rocket league.

Well...I would opine it also has a lot to do with age I was in the Army in my late teens and early 20's Being "in the center" of that group That felt so good....nothing like it We'd storm the gates of hell....and die....together But as I grew into my mid 20's, you start to question what you'd ignore to stay part of that group And that can get....scary...you're addicted...your free will is impaired So you (should) begin to set up boundaries Although...some never did But...looking back at 65....I've never felt that connected....and never will again And yet......

@@craigd2599 Not sure what to tell ya man. Bad luck with your teams I guess. I've played soccer most of my life and this is exactly how it was. There were some who were there to hang out and not play. And I think every team has those few especially in the lower rankings. But there was always at least one who had the heart of the sport with them. Everyone plays at one point in their life, usually when they are young, but not everyone understands what sportsmanship is.

Hockey made me a better person. Sports in general. You play for the competition, camaraderie, progress. You learn who's an asshole, cheat, or a dirty player. You learn who's in it for the win above board. Really one of the best sports of all time. Fun as fuck too.

Limited budgets with ensemble pieces dictate smaller crews, less dynamic camera action and lighting. With more money, the production values go up which some people confuse with a better show. Best example: I, Claudius - a 1970s BBC TV production that is still a thousand times better than any historical fiction extravaganza today
