To be honest, I feel like the absurdity of Glee is what made it so enjoyable. It's not really there to be like a well-thought-out drama to teach you all of these lessons (but then we still have moments in the show that I thought were exceptionally well-written.. like Kurt and his father). It's more like a dark comedy with music, which is honestly why I like it. You never really knew what to expect. A lot of the 5th season and all of the 6th season was trash tho x)

I always had a gut feeling he was weirdly close with his students. it’s great to have a good relationship with your students, but I feel like he crossed the line between the teacher-student relationship many times. you shouldn’t be friends (or even more) with your teachers because at the end of the day, that’s your teacher. Mr. Shue was so nice and friendly to his students. That’s great. But he also was weirdly personal with some of them, and I always thought he was creepy and even predatory at times.

As an Aussie gleek I remember when they came to Sydney & it was like 30mins from me & I didn't go bc I would of gone alone & it would of been me catching a train for the first time 😂 I regret not going. I watched every episode of glee I know it went bad after first few seasons but still wanted to see how it went. We got the pilot ep the same day I graduated school & I had my formal that night & me and my friends had seen the sneak peek/trailer for glee for weeks & we were so annoyed it was same night as formal so next day we went to our friends place & it was just such a crazy moment when don't stop believing came on. Kevin was on an ABC miniseries, hosted his own show in the UK, and released music, and Jenna has been in movies, on Broadway, and producing Broadway shows, one in which won her a Tony, since Glee ended. I see your point. They both have done other things past Glee (Jenna won a freaking Tony!), but sometimes I think the same thing. Several of the other cast members have done some really big time things outside of Glee and even though I like hearing about some of the behind the scenes stuff sometimes, it does kinda seem like they should move on.
