@@daxmusix I'm ready for more of Robin anytime! Robin was on the top of my Bee Gees list. Robin does have a gorgeous, and unique voice as you will agree. Robin was very sexy, and handsome in my eyes. Many other people will agree. Noone can duplicate Robin's voice. I know you are aware of his contributions to many charities, and his mentorship of Alistair Griffin. Robin sang "My Lover's Prayer" with Griffin. It will melt your heart. Again, keep up the good work! Please continue to praise Robin, because he deserves it. Thanks!

Robin's wonderful voice always transmits strong emotions even in the younger generations, perhaps those who have known the Bee Gees with the disco. For many it is a discovery of the authentic vocal capacity of our beloved Robin with other pieces from previous years but also later, because the disco did not do him justice. Yes, the effect had a worldwide resonance but the voices were confused and the falsetto emerged. I am very happy that, thanks to YT, Robin is taking a well deserved revenge and is an example of sublime performance for young singers.

You would love Robin's Titanic Requiem album that he composed with his son Robin-John in 2012. He sings Don't Cry Alone and it's so beautiful. It was released shortly before he died in 2012. It's wondrous. Thanks for this reaction.

Love your breakdown of this beautiful song. You are so right; it is inexplicably hopeful though the lyrics were so longing of love lost, or never to be attained. ..... I too never knew of any BeeGees except Main Course and Night Fever. Im 64 and had the Main Course album. Just loving the discovery of all the decades i missed due to the blackballing of their music! Ive been on a kick for a couple months now. Love the 60s and the Spirits Have Flown and their 80s solo work ( Robin's 1983 How Old are You? Video is fun!) Maurice kills it with Railroad and Wildflower and Lay it On Me where he takes the leads. I agree with your assessment of Robins voice though my fave is still Barry's and Robin is a close second. I think your reactions are great thank you They are from here in the UK (the lsle of man )so they are Manx went to Australia in 1958 then came back to the UK in 66 or 67 and robin was in the hither green train crash in 67 he said being in first class saved him x the melbourne 74 concert is their best one shame I never got to see them live was just 13 when I heard you win again my fave song but only rediscovered in December 21 how amazing are they x

This song rounds out my all-time top three Robin leads along with "I Started a Joke" and "! Can't See Nobody". "And the Sun Will Shine" was only recorded once as a demo and the orchestration was the only thing added to that one-time recording. When Robin recorded his vocals he actually made up some of the lyrics as he sang it for this "demo". I guess "Don't mess with success" would be the operative phrase here. And I'm going to challenge both you and Kate about being the best Bee Gees fan ever, especially precious Robin, because I'm going to remind you that I was the one who requested "I Can't See Nobody" from this very same concert! Robins voice was amazing. I’m crazy about The Bee Gees. Such talented, humble wonderful men. They wrote the lyrics and music to over 1000 songs. Also wrote for many other artists including Dionne Warwick, Barbara Streisand, dianna Ross, and so many others. I’m crazy about all of them. Talents oozing from every cell of their bodies! daXmusiX - Robin Reigns! I was the same age as the twins and fell in love with them in the 60's. They're Mancunians (Manchester) but born on the Isle of Man. Spent less than a decade in Australia and went there by request of the Manchester police. Barry was on probation for theft and Robin threatened with reform school for arson. They called him "The Flame". NOBODY will EVER compare to Robin's voice. Totally unique. Barry said his voice was natural and he sang with no effort. He did sing with a lot of heart. It would be wonderful if you could react to an outstanding song from his last posthumous solo LP, "Days of Wine and Roses". Talk about lyrics. This is a beautiful song from the Horizontal album 1967. As usual with the Bee Gees, almost every song on it is wonderful. The Bee Gees were a British band and if you will allow me to be a smarty pant, your headphones are reversed.
