Thanks! I've had it about two years now, I love it so far. I've played a Fender Twin forever, and I love how the Z-Wreck responds to touch. It's almost a little TOO touchy sometimes.

Crazy that this guy is my guitar teacher. I’ve sat in that room. Kinda weird feeling

I feel like this guy won bc his gear and recording quality was far greater than the other contestants. Any of first 3 shown in the Top 5 video shoulda won. They did the most with the limited gear they had. Those kids deserved it.

Hey Chris, I respectfully disagree that Kyle didn't deserve to win. He is a great player and also a really good guy. I do agree that the others deserved to win as well though (everyone did get something by the way). Everyone was amazing and brought something unique to the table.

@@PhishGuitarLessons I should have put this in the comment : "no offense to the winner" bc I honestly have no ill will toward him. Im merely pointing out that I think if you listened closely, I thought that the first 3 guys played both flawlessly and creatively but it just didn't come across as well to the viewer as the winner and I think that was ONLY the result of his recording capabilities, not his talent. In the spirit of content creator GAW's and contests, I just wished it had gone to 1 of the 3 guys that clearly lacked the same level of financial independence and life experience as the latter 2 guys-no offense at all against them as guitarists but the guy who won looked like he had tens of thousands of $ worth of gear. Those kids clearly had nothing but an amp and a guitar.

The fact they made the top 5 is a great effort and encouraging. I'm sure it will teach them great lessons including how to improve the quality of their recordings which can be done with free software ie garage band and a phone etc the importance of the mix with the backing track is super important and something I've been trying to work on of late as well.

@@chrishh03 No offense to you but this smacks of jealousy. I think most of us are able to separate the recording quality of the submissions from the skills of the players and make an informed vote as to whom's playing we preferred. All the players are awesome guitarists and the young men that submitted their playing here no doubt have bright futures as musicians.

Wasn’t the stash challenge won by a guy playing a ukelele into a cell phone mic? They were all great. Really really great, any of them winning would have been acceptable to me. The actual prize is all of us getting to see the content, the give away is just incentive for everyone to go for it.
