Perhaps I don't qualify as a bonafide collector as a result, but I don't worry about knowing who made a doll very often. I have to consider cost. That aside, I buy what appeals to me with regard to beauty and, even more importantly, character. I love the Jumeau Bebe in cream, Steiner A and, most particularly, the Tete Jumeau. What a wonderful auction this will be!
