This movie is the best movie I've seen in years! It is also about why so many men neglect, take drugs, throw away their lives, gab or not! Why at some point the madness and the negative wins in our societies. The brother scene at the end of the film touched me very much. There is too little brotherhood, care, and support among men and that is the case in many cultures. But relationships with women also remaining distant and impersonal. The main actor, LEVAN GELBAKHIANI was fantastic, but the entire ensemble deserves praise. I hope that there will be more international attention for these artists! Thank you for this masterpiece!

I watched this movie 2x and I’m falling in love with the actors, the story, everything in general. The story is beautiful, the acting is outstanding and the chemistry of the two lead actors is mezmerising. I highly recommend this and it’s now one of my favourites

I have to see it again asap. Cinematographically stunning, original and irresistible and I'm nuts about all the actors too!! Best movie this summer possibly and more, several unique moments and should bring entire cast international offers; not to mention the protagonist (!!! 🌟), Levan Gulbenkhian ( apologies if mispelt),. The director is some kind of a genius , everyone who made it very corageous too ❤ I feel like going to Tbilisi tomorrow!!! 🙏

The best dance film after many years..."Merab and Irakli" Wau!I wish luck to all Georgian Dancers. The story is difficult in Georgia, but not here in Finland.I accept gays, lesbians and transsexuals. I have been dancing(not prof.) all my life.I love Finnish polka.Last studies has been Japanese Butoh,10 years in Tampere.I have studied Balkan dacies in 70-ies and 2000.I have an LP of a male Georgian chor and my parents visited Tbilisi.

Very good movie, it has a nice ballance to it. The story is clean and nice, not too much dancing and not too much gay stuff. To me it felt like a story of self discovery and the end was simply amazing. Congrats for not copying the american superficial stuff. The main character didn’t need to prove anything to anyone including the viewers, it was only for him. Hats off!

The thing is that people in Georgia are mostly orthodox Christians and in Orthodoxy being gay is not a good thing... But it is a religion after all and most of the people just get over it... But there are some fanatics that start bullying towards them and that's bad... really bad... People actually die here because of that. BTW Hitler was different too but he was clearly bad :)

the "hetero-couple" (i assume you mean between Merab and Mary?) aren't actually in a relationship of that kind, they aren't married either. as for the ending, it's neither tragic or necessarily sad... it's bittersweet? it's nothing like any other typical gay themed movies, i swear :) it's an "open" ending and arguably an empowering one at that. i don't wanna spoil too much but this film won't really end up like your concern. it's a worthy watch.
