No. All these were leased by PPP. Most of these people are Muhajir, many of them Biharis, Bengalis, Baloch, and people from KP and Afghanistan. You are probably too young to remember Jam Sadiq Ali. He is the one who started selling all the Karachi parks. I still remember that the park I used to play cricket in Nazimabad. Karachi, was sold and ugliest looking apartments were built which still exist today. PPP has done so much damage to Karachi that it will be hard to fix it.

Let me clear that, the area of Mustafa Abad on the main Road, initially encroached then gradually it extended and sold out again and again, in 1984.to 1987. The whole encroached area got leased by KMC.in this way a large amount of money (bribe) illegally paid to Ex-highly officials. First thing is that's the Road in City mastr plan.it must be developed. Second is, if the Allotees say it's not necessary, they are wrong. Third is if they are here for 40 years, it doesn't means the occupation turns into allotments, ultimately they are illegal, not the owners of encroached Land. A.wajid. from, Karachi. PAKISTAN.
