I met Grady Hendrix in Texas and he signed my copy of Witchcraft for Wayward Girls! If you can ever see him speak in person, DO IT. He's hilarious and such a genuine person. 🖤

I bought Head Like a Hole a while back but haven't read it yet. It was exciting to hear someone else mention it! I'm going to have to move that one up on my reading list. Girl, your haul videos often get me excited to pick up books I forgot I had. Thank you. :)

The book embosser gift is awesome! If I had one everything paper-based that I own would bear the seal. Very cool!

Oh, Anda!! You are in for a treat with Witchcraft For Wayward Girls and The Prefect Marriage. The ending of The Perfect Marriage is insane and so, so good!

That "Fred Flintstone bowling on his tippy toes" sound effect when you wave at the beginning of your videos never fails to make me laugh, so thank you for that! And I'm eager to see what you (and I) think about Grady Hendrix's new book as I am a new fan of his and this looks great!

I also ordered Witchcraft for Wayward Girls solely because of the cover (and I generally like Grady Hendrix books). I didn’t even know it was set in Florida (where I live) until watching your video 😅

I just finished "Wake Up" the other day and am VERY curious what you think of it! Personally, I much preferred the short story it was based on from "Found: An Anthology of Found Footage Horror Stories".

The Other is fantastic. There is also a movie adaptation from the 70s, I think. The movie is great, too. It's so creepy and gothic.

Woah. Zak Sally was one of my art school professors. Maybe I'll check "Fugue State" out.

Abnormal Stastics is extraordinarily dark and depressing. I'm glad I read it.

I checked out a book and read it this month that you might be interested in. It's called Mouth by Joshua Hull. It was a very fun read and it was good.

🍄 I read Head Like A Hole in 2023, literally only bought it for the cover and it was listed as horror. I thought I wrote a review but I guess I only posted it on my Instagram. Not much of a review but this is what I wrote: “Started this random purchase lastNight. Bought this at first for the GORGEOUSLY HAUNTING cover. Then for the 90’s Nostalgia references, (which this has on almost every page….. lol) Then because I have 1% impulse control when it comes to books….. and that 1% wasn’t working that day. Lol only a few chapters in (small chapters) and it is, ummmmmmm bizarre to say the least. Lol For those who know me WELL though, thought you may like to know there’s already been a “To kill a mockingbird, running ham.” moment, so I think I’ll keep reading. 😂” It was an interesting book that’s for sure. lol

I loved Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, binged through that book in 2 days. I usually prefer not to read about pregnancy, since it just mostly doesn't resonate with me, but I have a soft spot for this book now. It even made me shed some tears when I finished reading ✨so curious to know how you'll feel about it❤
