Saw them being interviewed once years after they stopped dancing. They said that they were always arguing with the costume designers who were a little bit too ‘safe’. They themselves preferred the more revealing costumes such as the ones in this video. They were aware that they were in great shape and wanted to ‘show themselves off’. My kind of women !!

Flick Colby was a brilliant choreographer. Her routines could be so intricate. Having so many ideas where 5 or 6 dancers would dance different steps in such balanced, cohesive groupings is more impressive with each viewing.

"Elegant"... oh come on... They're wearing night dresses and sparkly pants, it's not THAT different besides it being in an era of different aesthetic trends. This is the 70's equivalent of whatever you think today's 'fake' is. The only reason women seemed 'classier' then is because there was no internet for them to post videos of themselves twerking for the world to see... You'd still see plenty of women with too much make up on and revealing clothing just as you do today. I mean, they're called Legs & Co for christ sake they knew that sex sells even in the 70s.
