Every time my husband and I drive in the country and see all these big tubes of hay, we comment to each other that we wished we knew how it was done. DUH....so I went on KZbin, and now we know. I think that farming is fascinating, and I am so glad that it is so easy to find out how things are done/

Using this in Farming Sim 22 and it's awesome to find out how accurate the in-game functionality is to reality. Cool-ass machine.

U said u fed the steers the haylage I am trying the same thing this year but wasn't going to use corn silage what is your thought on that trying to get the same product with haylage
@veesercattleco.41116 жыл бұрын
If feeding haylage.....highly suggest they get a grain ration daily as well.

Cut and baled on one day? Do you have any risk of combustion? In Ontario, Canada, we cut and in a day or two, rake, then by day 3 at the earliest we bale. Now that I'm at the end of the video I hear you saying it's cattle grass,like sargum, so disregard everything I just wrote! Love the wrapper,man!

Thinking about getting one do u know if they work good with dry hay
@user-A244F5 жыл бұрын
If you're hay is dry enough you can store it in a barn anything less you can wrap from almost dry to just baled

What moisture % are you trying to bale it? How do you check the moisture level? Enjoy the videos.
@buffranchAB5 жыл бұрын
45-55% is a good target, some balers are equipped with moisture sensors

As a non farmer but very interested can someone explain to me the purpose of tubes rather than individual storage etc?
@freisdairyllc68985 жыл бұрын
It takes more plastic to wrap each bale individually, thus increasing cost.

Love the way the Americans dont know what silage bales are. Haha we use a wrapper like this but it does one bale at a time hehehe

I'm not sure if I understand your comment? I'm an American, in America...wrapping Silage bales?
@mfdriver905 жыл бұрын
@@veesercattleco.4111 I think he means wrapping every single bale (like they do in the Uk and Ireland) not the inline wrapping.
@redpower14665 жыл бұрын
Alot of farmers in America wrap bales for silage both individually and in the continuous tubes.
