@nhsteno1 The problem is lots of people say this about psychic readings. However, if you get the opportunity to listen to a recording of the reading, it's never anywhere near as impressive as they think it is. A "psychic" might say "Does the name John mean anything to you " and if the person's father's name is John, she'll tell everyone that the psychic knew her father's name. When that wasn't the case.

I have seen a lot of footage with John Edwards over the years and I've never felt fully confident about him. I'm not a skeptic either. In my experience, a psychic is more valuable when it comes to personal development rather than connecting with the departed-however, it definitely makes for good television. We all have the ability to better develop our intuition!

@ecamilo762 John Edward does not deceive he is very very real and one of the most talented mediums I have ever seen.. and I know because I am a medium as well. I watched him 2 weeks ago live do readings for over 3 hours and the details he came up with were astonishing. It's unfortunate the skeptical people think we "prey on people" when in all honesty it could not be further from the truth. The skeptics are the ones who prey & try and take away from the experience and healing people receive.

@MsHojat watch the Dr. Phill show. He told John nothing about who he was going to read and was not given any information ahead of time. No one can fake their way through that show, not James Randi, not even Derren Brown! You can all speculate how you think he does what he does but unless you see for yourself with your own eyes! Be skeptical but not cynical!!

@silverpsychic13 Interesting choice of words (:his job is to 'attack') which is exactly what James Randi is doing, unfortunatley. The subject of mediumship is complex and if you have a closed mind the door will never open.

@partyfub Sounds like you're a psychic yourself with all the things you describe what John did prior to his meeting with Anderson. Seriously though, it's always good to ask questions. John concentrates on images/voices that he sees/hears and is far too busy to get that right in order to convey the information to the person that is having 'a sitting' with him. How do I know this? I know John and have had my own experience with him.

@MsHojat Darren Brown is nothing like John Edward, not even close! Have you ever been to a John Edward show or had a reading? you no nothing about what he does until you see for yourself. It's like saying you don't like Chinese food but you have never tried it and then claiming it is like German Food! Don't be afraid, have a skeptical mind and not a cynical mind!
