Very few things effects a person's inner being like music so real artist like the ones you mentioned get pushed aside and ignored by the mainstream media in favor of clown acts that can't really sing, rap or write their own meaningful music. Heck it is even widely accepted now to pay big bucks on a concert ticket to see many of these garbage artists get on stage and lip sync their entire show. It is a sad day for music. That's a fact.
