@@dustmite5887 the lyrics aren't only about black people being shot by police. "We was tryna protest and the fires broke out" "Little tear gas cleared the whole place out " "You shoulda been downtown, the people are rising We thought it was a lock down, they opened up fire Dem bullets was flying" The song is about people trying to protest, but police shoots them xDDD This is absoulutely not true. Not only people could easily protest but also there were riots that weren't stopped by the police xDD There was even autonomus area in Seattle set up with force without local inhabitants consent, this is kind of agression when you impose your rules on people like local habitants... Basically the song suggests that peacful protests were pacified by the police xDDD

This ladies and gentlemen is how you really get a message out through your art. From everything to the artwork to the actual single and video. Anderson making the soundtrack to the movement. As over the groovy backdrop he speaks on police brutality, unemployment, the virus, the protests and everything else that has everyone on Lockdown. With his groovy, yet hauntingly beautiful voice and message in both the hauntingly, yet beautiful video and record. Being one that will be an anthem for years to come. That will be remembered for this time period in much the same way that fellow Los Angeles natives N.W.A.’s Fvck tha Police was for a generation. With the surprise feature from Jay Rock the perfect complementary touch too. As Paak shows yet again why he’s one of the best and most definitive artists of his generation.
