She is the precise and exact definition of aging gracefully. What an amazing person ❤

“Aging gracefully” is such a sexist term that our society only doles out to pretty women who are older. I have yet to hear that term used for a man…

I CAN NOT love her more!!! she is absolutely wholesome - I am so happy she exists, especially in public, for us/me to bathe in her GRACE. wow love!

It's hard to hear her say that she's old when she's still so hot.

Total role model, and an awesome, genuine interview. If I could cast Andie MacDowell as one of the moms in my series of novels, I would!!

I love her. She inspires me to keep growing out my natural hair. 18 months into it. Liberated. I'm only 20% grey, at 41, so my hairdresser doesn't support it. They think I'm mad.

So awesome. Like anyone could just hang out with her, would be the most normal thing anywhere. Also, Andie was a big inspo for me to let my platinum white grow in. 💜

Thank you, Angie. I'm seriously thinking of going gray, but I want to still look hot like you do! People think I'm in my 40's, and I'm 60. I'm young at heart, so I still want to be youthful with gray hair! ❤️

Oh, I love this. So in the last two weeks, two people have asked me if anyone has ever said that I remind them of Andie McDowell. I thought they were both nuts. I hail from Bora Bora! I am Polynesian by descent. Born and raised in Vancouver. Our skin tones do not match. But sometimes mannerisms remind people of others. So today, I thought I’d check and see what the heck they are on about. I recognized it immediately. It is the gray curly hair! I have embraced my gray as well, and it is curly and the same style as Andie’s. I love it! I love it for Andie and I love it for me. It is such low maintenance. People stop me quite often to comment on my hair and a lot of women say they could never let their hair grow gray, but they love it so much on me. I always encourage them to give it a try. Sometimes a lot of this, “Oh, I could never let my hair go gray.” is more about societal perception than it is about how the hair actually looks. I wasn’t trying to disrupt anything with my choice. I’ll flat out tell you it’s because there was no way I was going to be able to keep up with colouring my hair and making sure the roots weren’t showing. Forget about that noise. I hope if you want to go, you will!

Aging gracefully is only part of the story. Sure she hit the genetic lottery and has always been beautiful. More importantly she has taken care of herself. Her body. Her skin. You can't burn the candle at both ends and looks like this at 65.

I'm a Man. I got grey hairs at 16. Yeah. But.... They stand there.... For a man.... Hairs staying there almost at 100% is a blessing. Even if I don't believe in religious things.... lol Yep I got grey hairs all over my body at age 16. But Damn It, there's still there at 45 😁 I don't fucking care about the colour. My friends have NO HAIRS LEFT. Mine are there. No matter the fucking colour. I don't give a single fuck about that. Do the same ladies. "Hey Look, I'm 73 and got Purple, Natural Hairs." Yeah! Sure!!!!!!!!

She is wonderful but I disagree with the underlying narrative that you can't be sexy forever. But alas in America the disdain for aging supports her narrative.

Exactly, Monica Belluci is 60 years old and she looks sexier than many women a third of her age.

What’s going on with Brad Pitt? He likely has some levels of testosterone that keep him fit and young looking. As a 63 year old woman myself, the reality is a natural depletion of estrogen and progesterone. Working out 5 hours a day would likely age you more. A healthy lifestyle, diet and reasonable exercise program is going to be our best options. We have to stop comparing ourselves to men when it comes to aging, and be kind to ourselves.

I keep blonde but it would be white by now. Can’t tell when it grows out. Never any roots show. Harder for people with darker hair.
