Hello there,I just want to know if the red light on the Wahl Shaver Shaper 5 Star stays red when it is fully charged or goes off.I have been having one for a long time and recently I discovered that the battery has gone bad,I repalced it with a new battery the same model with the one that I removed from it and have charged it overnight but the light still stays on red.Is this normal or something is amiss.Thanks.

Hi there and thanks for the question. I copied these charging instructions 🔍🔎 👉direct from Wahl: ⬇️ LED INDICATOR Solid: LED will be fully lit when battery has reached full charge. Pulse: While charging, LED will pulse until battery is fully charged. The LED will change to solid when the battery has a full charge. I only got 3 years from my wahl shavers and the 1st year they worked great now won't hold a charge so I got an Andis foil shaver super cheap in double sale at cosmoprof and I wasn't even expecting it even the worker had to check the price to make sure but the company did it

I've tired all foil shavers including these in the video and the Wahl finale. The best is babyliss fx 02 shaver. Gets the closest to the skin. Cons are it isn't the smoothest shaver but once the foil is broken in. Its good

First of all booth shavers is for shave not with the wire or cabel,they are mostly made just for charging.I can give you one advice:next time you need too change the battery becuse is not longer work then when you bye a new battery make sure that new battery is at least 2400-2800 Ahmper not like in the orginal who is i think 1300-1800 Ahmp .Its gonna work longer and live longer with 2800 ahmper..just advice

Thanks for the question 👍 When used for balding the end result are quite similar with a "bladed" shaver. Foil shavers in my opinion save the user money, removes all the prep work, and cleaning and maintenance is super simple. The only inherent problem with this style foil shaver is when the hair is too long in length. I can't say for certain, but I think that rotary shavers (Braun, Philips) are better with varying lengths of regrowth. I hope my answer helps you decide whether foil shavers would be best for your purpose. Cheers 🍻

The chord falls out of my Wahl. Now the thing buzzes fast then stops then buzzes again. I think it's done. I only use it on my hair and I got about 5 years out of it. Couldn't imagine how long it would last if I was a barber using it all day. Probably last a couple of months.

🤔I can't see Wahl continuing to make Shavers with Nickel Cadmium batteries, that's old technology👎. Andis runs on Lithium batteries. 💯 For part availability I would choose the Andis Titanium Lithium Profoil Shaver, but both are capable of handling everything you use them on 👍💇🏾‍♂️
