Ah yes my childhood. I remember a store near me that had the rare ones in cases up high on a shelf. And as a kid wanting it but my mom saying no we couldn’t afford $200+

Every month I go to my local thrift store and i always find around one or to original bean babies i started this around half a year ago not because of the "price" when they sell but because i just find them adorable!

This was a very nice and interesting video! I saw around the internet these Beanie babies but i wasn't sure what they were, since here i only saw Beanie Boos and i wasn't born in the 90s. I have a Beanie Boo myself, Peppermint, and i love him a lot :3

It’s kind of ironic that now that people know they are worthless they either throw them away or give them away which may in fact make them valuable one day.

I actually made money off the beanie baby craze, at the height of their popularity I had a m+f couple approached me and my friend outside a Mr. Paperback offering us $10 each to purchase beanie babies for them as they had purchased the max allowed per customer, we bought the beanie babies for them and got paid and bought a half gallon of Jim Beam .

Alright so if anyone out here’s curious about how to identify a pricy-er beanie baby: - if it’s hang tag is older than g2, it’s probably worthless - If it has pe pelleted instead of pvc, the price drops - if the hang tag/tush tag isn’t in pristine condition it’s probably worthless - if it’s not authenticated the price drops more - the only princess bears worth anything are pvc made in Indonesia ones - If it’s a version of a beanie baby that got a name change later it’s worth more - if it has misprints it’s worth more

There's still loads of beanie babies in my country, they are common around book shops, I know because I've bought loads, I don't remember any of their names however because I took they're tags off, but yes, you can still find loads of them here

check the tush tag for the name?

@@trdsupra3514 I don’t know where most of them are now but I definitely didn’t know they were rare, I think I had a bear and some others but seeing as I’m older now. My mother most likely donated them

I still have my beanies loved them as a kid and I remember buying them and I had a cousin who worked at McDonald’s so he got me the teenie beanies including the 4 bears set I still got them also I have The end and the Beginning and bears after year 2000 I never bought them hoping they’d be valuable I got them cos they were cute I have a few of my bears on display and had my rabbits out at Easter and Christmas ones are now part of Christmas decorations feel kinda bad for the people who bought them thinking oh one day I will sell them and they will put my child through collage or be a deposit on a house and car now their left with all these toys that are practically worthless but I would never sell my beanies as their cute and part of my childhood and I’m not a fan of the beanie boos yet I have a couple but their not as cute as the beanies from my childhood

I saw your beanie baby collection on the table and saw this grey cat in it. I thought: that looks like my plush that I had since I was a baby! I googled "beanie baby grey cat" and .... I now know after over 20 years (I am 21) that my dear "Katzi" is actually a beanie baby. DAMN XD

I can't concentrate on what you're saying because your Hand movements are sooooo distracting. The constant moving them to the right side, then the left side. To the right...to the left. without fail. its really distracting.
