Taught this play for 32 yrs. in high school English. Always watched the Franco Zefferelli versio with Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting. Such soulful and tragic musiv. The movie was filmed in Italy making it very authntic. Andre is also using Itaĺy as a backdrop which heightens the authenticity.
@greg1mcintosh844 Жыл бұрын
I was very young, like 12 maybe 14 when I first saw the Zefferelli movie. I was not a romantic kid - but, even at that age I remember the feeling I had after it ended - magic, elation, excitement - it captured True love - eternal romantic love. I was high for a while after, just wanted to hold the feeling. It spilt over into young love, short-lived as it was, but at least I know it - had a taste of it. Eternal.

You can now if there is someone you love and who loves you. It doesn't matter the age. What matters is the love inside you. My boyfriend died at at 55, two and a half years ago, his body a wreck, and ravaged by type one diabetes. I took care of him for nine years. My love for him is ageless and timeless, and in the end, tragic. With illness and age, the body does not always mirror things like it does when we are young, but the Love lasts just as strongly, and is eternal.

Believe what you want, but I have to say what I just experienced. First time listening to this song. It was so beautiful at the first impressions, I decided to step outside to look at the stars and moon while listening to the music. I'm a single woman in my late 20s and one of my dreams is to be with my soulmate. Haven't met him yet but I always think about him. Who he is and when will we meet. I'm thinking about this, and just at the moment the violin hits its peak in the music. A shooting star clear as day, in front of my eyes, glazed the moon. I made my wish at that moment. I hope it comes true very soon.

O instrumental mais lindo que eu já conheci... Traz uma paz, tranquilidade. Lembro-me do meu amado filho enquanto era pequenino.
