I selected this song to be played at my beloved dad's funeral in two days. So beautiful, so emotional, it spoke to me immediately. Please send prayers! I don't know how I'll hold myself together for the funeral! I've never lost a parent before. This is so hard! I don't know many hymns, but there's just no words to describe the beauty of this song. My Pastor gave me some suggestions to listen to, but this video was on the sidebar menu and I love this conductor's music, so I thought I'd listen to it. So glad I found it! Any prayers are appreciated, I'm so heartbroken! He was ill for so long and I have to take comfort that he's now with our Lord God and not suffering anymore. I love and miss you dad! I praise God all Mighty that my oldest daughter is still alive after being hit head-on by a drunk driver 3 1/2 weeks ago. She suffered severe nerve damage in her cervical spine that has crippled her. But she is a real trooper and doing what she can day by day. I know God was and still is near her every day, as with all my children. I continue to lift all my friends and family up in prayer.
