András Schiff. How I have loved his musicianship and music-making since first hearing him in 1988. My hero among musicians. Thank you so, so much for this documentary. I treasure it.

I knew his name but I hardly ever listened to his music. Now I "discovered" him and was surprised by his sensitive, "honorable", sincere, serious interpretations. It's not just music, it's an admirable, much-missed style of life, I find in his music and I love so much. Maybe I recognize it because I'm old enough now. Maybe I'm less afraid to be what I am? Anyway, I hope I can once experience him perform... maybe in Vicenza? 😄

I know for ideological reasons Schiff is not a fan of Wagner-but being the musician he is-he knows that there is a lot of Bach in Wagner-and his workhave many contrapuntal aspects to it
