Our hearts go out to you. It was a difficult Summer having to bear André's loss followed by Tony Bennett's loss. For those of us who had the privilege to meet them, we are forever reminded of their musical brilliance. Find comfort in remembering. Peace & Joy to you and yours, this Holiday Season! 😇

Gershwin and his brother, Ira, had a style all their own. And André was a Classical musical artist of world-renown, beloved by millions. 😊

Yes, Mr. Watts was a very humble master musician, and I feel fortunate to have been able to shake his hand backstage after a concert, many decades ago.

@musicnowclassical263 I had the privilege of meeting him several times, beginning in 1981 when I Interviewed him as a graduate student. We talked about the Brahms piano concerti for my graduate research project. He was so very gracious and generous with his time! Then, 25 years later, he met with me and my piano students following a concert in Indianapolis. Again, generous and invested in giving my students insight into playing and his experiences. I will always remember André 's kindness along with his great gift of music making. ❤️❤️💔💔
