I loved and was always a big fan of Billie Holiday for close to 50 years . Diana Ross did a great job at portraying Miss Holiday in Lady Sings The Blues . But Andra Day really came much closer to looking more like Billie Holiday . Her voice and style was more symbolic to Miss Holiday .I am so happy that Diana Ross and Andra Day brought Miss Holidays story to life. The world and especially new generations will learn the ups and downs of the true life of this wonderful Icon .I’m glad that Billie Holidays story will not be forgotten and lost to time .🌺
